Microsoft Lync Qualification and Application Note

August 5, 2016

A demonstrated solution for converged services.

The Microsoft Unified Communications Open Interoperability Program (UCOIP) is a qualification program for third-party infrastructure and telephony vendors. Under this program, devices must pass rigorous and extensive testing, and conform to requirements specified by Microsoft in order to achieve Lync Server partner status.

Under this regime, Extreme Networks has demonstrated a network solution for converged services supporting every aspect of unified communications, including VoIP desk phone, softphones, instant messaging, and video collaboration.

Extreme Networks delivers a high-performance, highly scalable network with visibility, mobility, and control that allows businesses to successfully deploy a converged, smarter network.
