Location Is Everything; Wi-Fi’s Hidden Gem

Location is everything is the number one rule iterated by real estate agents around the world. Location is considered a key aspect of property value, as it cannot change. While you can remodel a kitchen or bathroom, the physical location of your property is locked to the terra firma where it’s found. Little has changed in the real-estate game since inception – desirable locations are more attractive, and therefore valued higher, than less desirable locations. Of course, there are many attributes that derive and define desirable locations that define each marketplace.

In the world of Wi-Fi the concept of location has existed for many years, and much like in real estate finds itself rooted in value. It is time for businesses to recognize the value of Wi-Fi’s location-based services as a component of contextual analytics that create actionable insights.
