Extreme Teams Up With Racing Pilot Luis “Chapulin” Diaz

May 21, 2014 Theresa Caragol

What do a famous racing pilot and Extreme Networks have in common? It’s simple really; we’re both committed to being smart and fast, which is why we’re teaming up with Luis “Chapulin” Diaz, one of the best Mexican Formula race car drivers.

The “Chapulin,” who competes in the American Le Mans Series for Level 5 Motorsports, took home second place in the Prototype Challenge at last week’s United SportsCar Championship in Monterey, CA, as part of the 2014 TUDOR United SportsCar Championship series of races.

In recent years, the “Chapulin” has become increasingly regarded as one of the best- winning the 2009 American Le Mans Series LMP2 Class Drivers Championship in 2009 and earning a position as runner-up in the 2005 and 2008 Rolex Sports Car Series DP Drivers Championship.

Equally committed to his success off the track as he is on the track, Diaz is a two-time winner of the “Most Popular Driver” award. Smart and committed in his free time, and fast as lightening while on the track, we’re thrilled to have the “Chapulin” on board – or should we say in the driver’s seat – as our newest brand ambassador here at Extreme.

Check out the pictures from last week’s USC Championship, and be sure to see Luis Diaz and Extreme at one of these upcoming races:

  • Kansas Speedway – Kansas City, KS —    June 6-7
  • Brickyard Grand Prix – Indianapolis, IN — July 24-25
  • Road America – Elkhart Lake, WI  — August 8-10
  • Virginia International Raceway – Alton, VA  — August 23-24
  • Circuit of the Americas – Austin, TX  — September 19-20

In two words:  Go Luis!!
